Seeking Volunteers - 2025 Poppy Appeal

Tuesday 28th October – Tuesday 11th November, 2025

Poppy Appeal

Frankston RSL is looking for volunteers to help sell Poppy Appeal merchandise in the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula Area.

The valuable funds raised from our appeals go directly in support of veterans and their families who find themselves in necessitous circumstances, and the funds raised at the Frankston RSL also go toward helping prevent social isolation among the veteran community by subsidising regular veteran wellbeing activities organised through our “wellness and wellbeing” programs.

Help make the 2025 Poppy Day appeal great, and know that your time and assistance is immensely appreciated.

What does it involve?

Badge sellers work alone or in pairs, for a 2-3 hour shift, at the designated selling point of their choice:

ANZAC DAY APPEAL 2025

The total amount raised for the 2025 ANZAC Day Appeals was a staggering $141,500!

Help us thank our Appeals Team of Volunteers and our Appeals Coordinators, Peter K and James F, and an even BIGGER thank you to everybody who purchased badges and merchandise.

Without the assistance of our volunteers and the generous public who purchase badges, we would not have been able to raise this record breaking amount of funds that exceeds last year’s total raised. These funds will go towards helping veterans and their families in need, as well as veteran wellbeing programs, in addition to helping smaller RSL clubs through RSL Victoria.1

Through their tireless community work and the countless hours rendered by them – Committee members, Club members, community organisations, businesses, and schools, raised invaluable funds that go a long way to helping Veterans, and their families in need.
