Remembrance Day Services 2021

Remembrance Day 2021 was held at the Frankston RSL memorial  walkway and over 100 people attended the service. We thank the local SES for redirecting traffic and keeping attendees safe.

While we had been unable to celebrate the Centenary of the Royal Australian Air Force in 2021, we were honoured to have Air Vice Marshall Schmidt as our guest speaker, along with the local Air Force Cadets who assisted with Catafalque Party and helped laying wreaths.

We were particularly pleased to have the Mayor of Frankston, Councillor Kris Bolam, speak at his final civic duty as Mayor, and the attendance of Peta Murphy, Federal Member for Dunkley, and Paul Edbrooke, State Member for Frankston. The proceedings ended with a light supper that was enjoyed by all.
